Freya have entered More Sound Studio with producer Jason “Jocko” Randall (If Hope Dies, The Red Death) to begin recording their next LP.
The album has been titled Paragon Of The Crucible and will allegedly continue on with the lyrical themes established on their last offering, All Hail The End.
Our good pal Matt Darcy manages these dudes, and has good shit to say about the demos. So support Freya, fucker.
What themes? The kind that include “how after the cataclysm, people will create new mythologies to explain the post apocalyptic landscape, dealing a lot with mans ability to live in harmony with the Earth and each other.”
The band have undergone some slight lineup changes; vocalist Karl Buechner is also a member in good standing with Earth Crisis.
A press statement claims they are in the midst of locking in a new label home for the new material.
